Part of the international Social Media Week series, #SMWATX is “a three-day immersive content experience for industry thought leaders, experts, and practitioners to share practical insights and tactical advice in the fields of social media and digital marketing.” Though the speakers haven’t yet been announced, last year’s conference saw sessions by pros at Microsoft, Charles Schwab, Facebook, Deloitte, WeWork, BigCommerce and Texas Monthly.

Taking place in Times Square itself, this is one social media conference you won’t want to miss. Speakers haven’t been announced for this year’s event, but last year’s featured speakers were a doozy, including major players like Martha Stewart, Rev Run and Meredith Kopit Levien, the COO of The New York Times. More than 3,000 marketing, media and tech professionals from across the world are expected to attend.

If you’re looking for an excuse to go abroad, the SocialWest conference is a great one. The event blends marketing, communication, technology and social media, offering a wide array of educational sessions, panels and interactive workshops. Last year’s event featured speakers from Google, Twitter, Microsoft, Hootsuite and more.

 

International Conference on Social Media Marketing

When: July 18-19, 2019

Where: Brunswick, New Jersey

ICSMM takes a different approach to the social media conference, shedding light on the more academic side of things — including the latest research, reports and data around social media.

It aims to “provide an international platform that allows practitioner and academic researchers respectively to share and discuss their latest research, ideas and survey reports in the theoretical and practical areas regarding all aspects of social media marketing.”

This year’s speakers haven’t yet been announced, but last year, representatives from Google, Facebook and various colleges and universities presented their findings.
