WHOOSH Increases Amazon Sales by 170.4%
WHOOSH is redefining the next generation of clean with tech hygiene products for screens, devices & gadgets including tablets, smartphones, monitors, TV’s, GPS, POS systems, handheld game consoles, kids electronics, and more.
WHOOSH teamed up with CPC Strategy in March 2017 to establish and scale their Amazon advertising efforts.
WHOOSH turned to CPC Strategy to improve their ecommerce presence & expand their customer reach. In order to do so, they knew they would need to establish Amazon advertising campaigns to increase product discoverability and drive conversions. Previously, the majority of their revenue was coming from brick and mortar sales. Thanks to our efforts, Amazon is now a powerful channel to expand WHOOSH’s reach and grow their user base.

Goal 1: Establish profitable Amazon advertising campaigns
It’s a well known best practice to optimize Amazon Marketing campaign structure to improve management. But simply revamping Amazon campaign structure doesn’t lead to performance improvements by itself. At CPC Strategy, we believe the real secret to success on the Marketplace is through the integration of automated bid rules. In the case of WHOOSH, we turned to our CAPx (rule-based) bidding technology for Amazon 3Ps to strengthen performance.
We also worked with their team to establish advertising efforts for Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) including:
- Defensive campaigns (via Product Display Ads) to keep competitors off their product detail pages.
- Offensive campaigns (via Product Display Ads)” to drive growth by targeting competitors and complementary products.
- Headline Search Ads to drive traffic to their retail brand page and target ads by keywords through high visibility placement in the search results.
Additionally, we optimized their Sponsored Product Ads, and used data from their automatic campaigns to build out manual campaigns. Manual campaigns allow brands to fine tune their product targeting based on the relevancy of the keyword(s) and set bids on individual keywords that target relevant searches. As a result, their products became discoverable and buyable to customers.
Since the CPC team started managing these paid platforms, WHOOSH has not only increased sales by 170% but they’ve added new products and variations to their catalog (to be exclusively sold on Amazon).
Goal 2: Optimize ASINs with Enhanced Brand Content & A+ Content
Our creative team also implemented Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) and A+ Content (via Vendor Express) on select ASINs to act as an extension of WHOOSH’s brand on the Marketplace.
We worked with WHOOSH to modify the product description fields and build out custom creative including their brand story, enhanced images, and text placements.
EBC and A+ Content gave WHOOSH the additional space within their detail pages to answer common customer questions and provide relevant details about their product, which lead to an increase in conversion rate and a better shopping experience for their customers.
