Update: PrestaShop has done a lot of work to revamp their client experience, and their newest version – 1.6 – is an overhaul of their user-interface and back end.

PrestaShop is a complete ecommerce platform for retailers of a variety of sizes, and it gives retailers a large number of ways to customize their store through open-source software.

It’s free, too, which gives retailers a low barrier to entry and a lot of flexibility (if you have the programming skills) to build an ecommerce store.
