Introducing Rev By CPC Strategy – An Amazon Integration Platform For The Rest Of Us

As some of you know we’ve been working a self service platform for eCommerce merchants for just over a year. We’re excited the project has moved out of development into private beta! I had a chance to chat with our Chief Operating Officer, Nii A. Ahene earlier this week about what our platform does and what led us down the path of building it. Here’s the interview-
Andrew: Describe the Rev By CPC Strategy Platform in 140 characters or less.
Nii: Rev By CPC Strategy is a fully hosted SAAS platform that allows eCommerce merchants to send product inventory to Amazon.com.
Andrew: What led you and your team to building the application?
Nii: We’ve managed comparison shopping campaigns since 2007 and along the way we’ve had a lot of our customers ask us to recommend a company or platform to help them expand product sales on marketplaces like Amazon and eBay.
While there are quite a few companies that say they can integrate with the marketplace, based on what we’ve seen and heard these solutions often are too clunky to use or too expensive to be serious options for most growing eCommerce retailers. With that in mind we set off developing our own platform with usability and end user cost in mind. Based on the feedback we’ve gotten so far from our beta clients I think we’ve arrived at a very good place!
Andrew: What are some of the usability issues your team has addressed with your Amazon Integration Platform?

Nii A. Ahene
The biggest one would have to be product mapping/matching. Anyone who has tried to list a significant number of products on Amazon knows that just because you have a UPC doesn’t mean it’s going to be the same product referenced on Amazon.com potentially resulting in negative feedback from buyers who get something they didn’t think they ordered!
We’ve put together a flow that safeguards against matching issues that has gotten rave reviews from our beta clients both in terms of thoroughness and ease of use.
Andrew: At what point does it make sense for a growing eCommerce retailer to use a platform like yours to send inventory to Amazon?
Nii: To be honest as soon as they’re ready to increase sales on channels outside of their main website. Amazon.com isn’t without its faults as we’ve noted here in the past but Amazon.com is, without question, the world’s largest eCommerce Marketplace. As we get nearer to the public launch of Rev By CPC Strategy we’ll publish a case study or two of our beta clients that have increased incremental revenue by six figures in a few months by integrating with Amazon.com!
Andrew: What’s next for the CPC Strategy Development Team?
Nii: We’re in the process of getting feedback from our clients, refining the platform and adding features in anticipation of the full launch later this year. We’re really excited to make a real impact in top line revenue for our current and future clients!
Andrew: How can a merchant get started with Rev By CPC Strategy to Drive Sales and Grow their Revenue via Amazon.com
Nii: We’re currently in closed beta and working with select retailers, but if you’re interested in being notified as we scale out the platform feel free to sign up for our interest list here.
Thanks Andrew! It’s so weird doing one of these on our own blog :)
